Adult Swim Programs

Three programs built for where you actually are — not where someone thinks you should be. Whether you've never touched a pool or you're ready to stop just surviving laps, there's a program designed for you.

Group Lessons

For adults who are starting from zero — or close to it

This is where most Swim Fast students begin. Group Lessons are small by design — never more than 6 adults per class — so your instructor can actually see you, correct you, and help you progress. You'll build from water comfort all the way to independent swimming, step by step, without being rushed.

  • Maximum 6 students per class — real attention, not just a lane
  • Certified Water Safety Instructor with 10+ years of adult teaching
  • Structured curriculum: water comfort → floating → breathing → strokes → independence
  • Weekday and weekend sessions available
  • Indoor pools — classes run year-round regardless of weather
Who it's for: You've never learned to swim, you're afraid of water, or you've tried before and it didn't stick. This is the right place to start.

Swim Clinics

For adults who can swim — but want to swim well

You can get across the pool, but it's exhausting, your form feels off, and you're not sure what you're doing wrong. Swim Clinics are intensive, focused sessions that fix exactly that. We break down your stroke, identify what's costing you energy, and rebuild it with proper mechanics.

  • Focused on freestyle, backstroke, and bilateral breathing
  • Stroke analysis with specific, actionable feedback
  • Endurance-building drills and structured training sets
  • Maximum 8 students per clinic
  • Monthly schedule with themed focus areas (e.g. breathing, turns, open water)
Who it's for: You can swim laps but you're inefficient, winded, or just know your technique needs work. Clinics get you swimming smarter.

Workshops

One skill. One session. Real progress.

Sometimes you don't need a full course — you need to break through one specific wall. Workshops are single-skill sessions that go deep on exactly what's holding you back. Whether that's floating, breathing, deep-water anxiety, or something else, you'll leave with a real, tangible breakthrough.

  • Floating & Body Position — stop fighting the water
  • Breathing for New Swimmers — the skill that unlocks everything else
  • Deep Water Confidence — face the fear directly, in a safe setting
  • Treading Water & Water Safety — essential life skills
  • Introduction to Open Water — pools are one thing; open water is another
Who it's for: You have one specific thing you want to fix or overcome. Workshops let you do that without committing to a full program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any swimming experience to join?

None at all. Group Lessons start at the very beginning — water comfort, face submersion, floating. If you've never been in a pool, you're exactly who this program is for.

What should I bring to my first class?

A swimsuit, a towel, and a water bottle. Goggles are helpful but not required for the first session — we can recommend a good pair if you need one. That's it.

How long until I can swim independently?

It depends on where you start. Adults who can already put their face in the water typically reach independent swimming in 4–8 weeks. Adults who need to build water comfort first usually get there in 8–12 weeks. Both tracks are normal — and both work.

Are classes available year-round?

Yes. All Swim Fast classes are held at indoor pool facilities, so weather is never a factor. You can start any time of year and maintain a consistent schedule.

What if I have a fear of water?

Fear of water is the single most common reason adults come to us. Pasha has worked with hundreds of adults with water anxiety — it's not a barrier, it's a starting point. You will never be pushed past your comfort zone. Progress happens at your pace.

I tried swim lessons before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?

Most adult swim programs are either adapted from children's curricula or designed for competitive swimmers. Swim Fast is built from scratch for adult beginners — different instruction style, different pacing, and a maximum of 6 students per class so you actually get attention. That difference is usually the whole reason.

How much do classes cost?

Pricing is confirmed when classes open in your area. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to receive full details — waitlist members also get early access before spots open to the public.
